| Dweba – The Zulu word for
Fishing.
Living in Piet Retief for more than 20 years you will get into some Zulu
words and ways even if you try not to. However a dear Zulu friend and my
love for nature and fishing both helped me to decide on this name for
our ministry. Fishing in this context as you probably realized already,
actually means Fishing for Jesus.
Inspired by the word of the Lord in Luke 5 to stop toiling and working
in our own strength but cast our nets as Peter did on His word and
expect it to be filled supernaturally in every aspect of our lives.
I
believe whatever we do will be for the good of the true church of Jesus
Christ. Our mission is not only to spread the gospel but to teach every
child of God to become a son of God and to rule as a king on the earth.
Further to preach the truth that His glory will fill the earth. We
thank God for open ears to hear what other anointed men of God preach
and also for opening the eyes and ears of those who we are sent to
reach.
My prayer is that the love of God and His mercy and grace will flood
this ministry, our lives and the lives of all those who read this and
come into touch with us.
We speak what we believe.
We love the body of Christ.
We believe that God doesn't have a special chosen "nation" but that all
nations and all people who received Jesus Christ is the chosen
generation.
We believe that there is a generation that will never die and that
generation is us.
We do not believe in dying for Jesus but we believe in living for Jesus.
He died for us!
We contain the light of Him in earthen vessels.
We believe that our mortal bodies will be quickened.
We also believe that our appointment with death have been cancelled.
We are Zion the City set on a hill, the dwelling place of God.
God bless you and love you.
With love in Jesus Christ.
